At risk of sounding "old", I "admit" to have spoken about Skype Etiquette before somewhere in this blog. So recently, I was attracted to explore this article of the same name on Techcrunch . Though I completely agree with his point (watch the video that made me laugh and see if you have not had similar experiences on Skype), I find that setting Chat Notification, wether for groups or individuals, is indeed a solution. However, only for Chats.
Skype Chat Notify Off Limitation While setting Notification to off does stop the chat from popping up, there is still a problem. The same Skype contact can still call you. As the video below will show, this can still disturb with both visual and noise pop ups on your screen. In these cases (Skype contacts who call with out permission), your only recourse is to block them or place your entire contact list on Do Not Distrub (DND) Skype status. See Limitation Video below.
