Can we use “permission methods” with Skype chat rooms?
Yes we can!
Yes we certainly can use permission methods on Skype.
Have you ever been dragged into a group Skype chat with many people you never met before without your permission? I oppose this practice and am eager and willing to show people a better way. Skype is such a great instant communication tool. I like to teach people how to use permission methods on Skype.

Did you know you can start a community chat room on Skype and allow people to “Opt in”? I can help you (or the guy who dragged you into his Skype group – wink!) … to make a Public Skype room which people can join from a link (if they choose to – that is the permission part).
This way, joining from a link, people can join the room ONLY if they are interested. This is permission based. Send the link in text chat to people privately. Do you know there are tools that will allow you to send a broadcast message to targeted groups on your Skype contact list or search and add targeted contacts to many all at once?

What is NOT permission based is dragging people into a Skype group with out their consent. This does not make a good impression. It is a good way to ruin your Skype contact list, prospect list, customer list or subscriber list.

Targeted lists can become responsive customer lists and Skype is a great way to build those relationships in real time with instant text responses. If you want a responsive list of business contacts on Skype, then treat your Skype contacts very well. Respect them. Treat them as if they are kings and queens! Impress them with your good manners. Show them you care about them as people.
