Different ways of using Broadcast Messages in AWeber to optimize your online Marketing

Listen to todays recording while you read along:

Aweber has so many great features and I cannot imagine life on the internet without it. There are so many automation tools to make your life easier and allow you more time to do other things…like spending time with your family.Today I want to talk to you about Broadcast Messages.

It is very important to keep in contact with your list. If you have something new and exciting to inform them about, a broadcast message is ideal.

You can set a specific date and time that you want your message to be sent out, and this can be done to multiple lists at once. When you create your broadcast message you can choose which lists to send to and also set the date and time you want it to be sent. This way you could have it set to be sent out every month, for example.

You can access your sent broadcasts, and copy the message too if you decide to send a certain message out again. You can edit the copied message to suit your current requirements.

When you click on “Broadcast” in the submenu below Messages, you will see a list of your Pending Broadcasts, and below that is a list of Sent Broadcasts.

You can either create a new message, or choose one already sent, copy it and edit if you need to. When you copy it, it will appear in the text box for you to edit. You can set the date and time from there too – Right at the top above the edit window. A little lower you can click on “send to multiple lists or exclude lists” if you want to send to more than the one list at once.

If you have lists of more than 100 subscribers, you can do a split test broadcast. You may want to use different messages or Webforms to test which gives best results. You may test up to 4 split test groups of varying percentages. For example, if you want a split test with 10%, 10%, 10%, and a final group of 70% it will automatically randomly divide your list into unique groups. You can then enter your broadcast text into those messages and send them. Send your broadcasts all at once or wait for feedback and results before mailing each group. If you want to create less than 4 groups just enter the percentages for those groups. For example, 25%, 25%, and 50% would create 3 groups. Doing a split test broadcast, can save you time and money if monitored correctly.
