Here is the How and Why to Get a New Skype account

 

This is part in a series of steps to prepare you to use Message Magic. This  will help you create  Skype account for any reason too. But first, the why you need a 2nd or New Skype account with Message Magic, then how to get one.

Why Get a New Skype Account to use with Message Magic?

Skype for business means growing a ever larger Skype contact list. Getting a new Skype account for business is  one way to manage a business Skype account, especially if your main or 1st Skype account starts to get too big to manage.

Do you have to give up your current version of Skype?

Do you have to give up your current version of Skype? No. I show you how to have any and all versions of Skype and how to run more then one Skype account at the same time,  in my Message Magic Getting started Guide and at my Skype trainings. The reason why you want to use a new Skype account with Message Magic is for a few benefits.

1. Faster Skype. Use a New Skype Account as a “Prospecting” Skype account, to search and add new Skype users by the hundreds and thousands, without slowing down your main Skype account. Searching and adding contacts, especially in Skype 5 and 4, builds its own database and this will slow down your Skype quite frustratingly… (is that a word?). Do searches and adding skype contacts in Skype 3.8 and in a 2nd or new Skype account.
2. More Results. Searching with Skype 3.8 allows you to find full profile data, Skype 5 does not. It also find more Skype users then Skype 5. But if you like using your current version of Skype and find3.8 very very different, then have both to run your MM searches in your 3.8 in a Prospecting New Skype account, and your main Skype account in your current version. This will also have the benefits of faster sign in to Skype. Switching between major versions like 5 and3.8 will take a long time if you use  the same account.  So dont. if you only want to use 3.8  fine, but you will miss some of the benefits of Skype 5  like Skype desktop share, Skype Video group calling and Skype Facebook integration.
3. Don’t Lose Your Skype. We do  our best to show you the right ways to use Skype for Networking and with Message Magic, but while you are learning, there is a risk of doing something that could send  something to too many people on Skype that you didn’t mean to or didn’t know any better.  The more people you send to, if its not something expected by strangers, and enough of them block and report you, Skype shuts down your account. You would not want that to happen to your main Skype account. Use a secondary new Skype account for searches and to add Skype contacts.

How to Get a New Skype Account

 

Creating a new Skype account is easy. Just go to Skype.com and click the Join Skype in the upper right corner.  On the tab called “Create an account”  fill in the fields, agree to  TOS and OK. Use your real name for your Skype name for better results, people like to know you as a person to add you and your friends and family will be able to find you too.For use with Message Magic, you are likely using this new Skype account for business. Again, people add  people not businesses or odd looking Skype names.  Brand your name. Each Skype account should have its own email and password.  Keep good records and I can help you recover from some loses, should they occur, like a Skype hack, but not from Skype blocking and shutting you down.
