How to put your autoresponder to good use

What exactly is and Autoresponder

An autoresponder is an automated email program to send an email with a message written by you. The messages can be written once and loaded in the autoresponder and forgotten about. It’s as easy as that.

Some Uses for Autoresponders

1. Build a mailing list by collecting names and email addresses by using a capture form.
2. If you publish an e-book, put the different chapters or excerpts in your autoresponder.
3. Use it to answer commonly asked questions about your product or service.
4. Create interest by writing articles and news letters to send to the leads with your autoresponder
5. Offer free reports or e-courses to show your expertise to your customers. This is a great way to capture prospects’ name and email address for future follow-up.
6. Use your autoresponder to send updated blog posts to your subscribers, by placing a webform on your blog for them to subscribe to. This is particularly good if you post updates of training or meetings you have planned.
7. You can create a survey to establish your subscribers and members needs
8. Advertise your business and build stable customer relationships over time.

Before you send your messages via an autoresponder, always check the content for spam triggers that may prevent your messages being delivered. We use AWeber Autoresponder, and they have a built in Spam Check. Some autoresponders can do more than simply send out standardized messages. They can send out an unlimited number of follow-up messages sent at predetermined intervals. For example, you can set your autoresponder to send out a new message every day for as long a period as you desire. AWeber is an excellent choice for you to control when your messages are sent out. You can set broadcast messages to be sent on certain days and at set times too.
