How to Use the Hot Conference Room :
1. To understand how this room works, visit here to watch a video demo.
2. Speaking: Try the F12 key on your keyboard instead of the “Talk Now” button . Hold it down the whole time you are speaking. If others in the room say your voice is too loud or too soft, then try sliding the slide bar above the “Talk Now” button up or down and ask again how you sound?
3. Trouble with Your Mic:
To fix or find out why your mic is not working in the room, see the if mic jack is plugged into the right port on your computer. Many time you will have the mic in the speaker and the speaker in the mic post.
If that does not work, then you must make sure you do not have things muted. See the little speaker by the clock on task bar to right click at the bottom of your screen? Click that to bring up a menu and check the settings. There you can see if there is one muted or not.
Occasionally, if you logout and log back in that will fix it too.
3. Hearing
You can adjust the volume by using the top slide bar above the “Talk Now” button. If someones voice is too loud, slide it down to the left. And if their voice is too soft slide it right to turn your volume up.
