Message Magic Random Search Patterns for Skype Contacts

Posted on Feb 6, 2009 in Message Magic, Uncategorized | 0 comments

This training was chapter one of the 3rd major section of the Message Magic Advanced Users Guide.

Julie read and explained Page 9 of the Message Magic Advanced User’s guide – page 8 – Random Search Patterns.

It probably won’t take long for most people to run out of the obvious search patterns and it is then that the creative juices start flowing. So maybe you’ll think “Hey why don’t I search for every combination of letters from AAA-ZZZ to see what happens?” Yep, been there and done that.

After working though some alternatives though I ended up with a database of over 90,000 Search Patterns. So far I’ve used just over 20,000 of them and have found 350,000 unique Users. Given Skype has so many users I’ve got a very long way to go. How about you?

Here are some thoughts about possible searches:

How about getting a list of every city in the USA or the cities of any other country you want to target? Try a search for NYC to see what you come up with. Try others as well. See how well that works to target by geographical area.

How about searching for every word in the English language, or the French language if you want to target the French? Do you see how easy it is to target by language? And don’t exclude jargon or technical terms. These could be the most fruitful of all.

The audio has a lot more than this text, so listen to it and learn.

Some of the points that were discussed were…..

Some search pattern examples:

  • Networking
  • Multilevel Marketing
  • Network Marketing Etc.

Julie also recommended people make separate lists with keywords of their own interests like:

  • Hobbies
  • Sport  Painting
  • Teaching etc.

Make a second list…..

  • Making money online
  • Making money from home
  • Financial freedom
  • Business opportunities etc

A third list……… A list that has nothing to do with your business (Product or Service)

  • Kids
  • Education
  • Health  etc.(anything that you might have a common interest in)…..

Anything that catches your thought!!!!!!!!

A fourth list…… A list about your business, product or opportunity.

  • A product you have to sell
  • Tools for marketing
  • Coaching etc.

The lists are endless. These are only examples to help you understand how to conduct a search. The main point to remember is that it can be anything that is of interest to you – remember you want to be able to talk intelligently about the subject you choose.

Julie also discussed how to move the conversation.

Get them to ask questions about the interests (common interests). You could also tell them about how you are using Skype and this came up, “do you have an interest in it?”Would you like to become friends and chat about what we might have in common?” Building a relationship with them. Be interesting by being interested in them!! Get them to trust you.

Make sure that your Skype profile is completed with enough information about yourself to make people interested in you. Let them check you out. Maybe check out a website and discover what you do. As you are chatting to them, you are becoming their friend and they will learn to trust you.

Now you can try and move the conversation to what your business is (what you do) because they have learned to trust you and will want to listen and perhaps work with you.

After this chapter was completed, the floor was open for questions.

A very important question that was asked was where people can find Basic training on how to use Skype. This is a question that has come up many time in the past weeks, as more and more people get Skype to be able to use Message Magic

Julie announced that she is working on a guide for “Skype Newbies” which will soon be released…. We will make the announcement as soon as it is ready.

Another new development……

Melody has created an Official Support Networking Site for Message Magic in Ning. This is a wonderful social site where members can communicate and ask questions about Message Magic. Melody explained more about it in the audio.

“There is only 1 reason a person won’t make money with this design and that is they quit before they get their “turn”.” - Grant Andrews.
