Message Magic “Specific Search Patterns” training

Today at noon we covered: “Specific Search Patterns” – Page 9 in the Message Magic Advanced User’s Guide.

This was after Julie made some announcements of the following new developments:

Specific Search Patterns:

In an earlier section I talked about finding and dusting off leads files you’ve most likely purchased in previous months / years.

Here’s another way to find good quality leads…

You are, no doubt, involved with Forums and/or Social Networking and/or Business Networking sites. The chances are very good that you can review forum threads or group discussion threads, and it is also quite likely you can see the name or some other “handle” the posters use. The name or handle becomes a search pattern you can use with Message Magic.

Grant Andrews, owner of Message Magic, come to the room as well. He gave some usefulk tips and answered some questions.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

QUESTION:  Does it look at the whole profile -

ANSWER:  Yes it looks for your keyword in the profile

QUESTION: Does it grab from the txt near the picture -

ANSWER: No, that is just you mood bubble, not part of your profile.

QUESTION: Do they search through Names, or just Usernames

ANSWER: They search through names too if it is in your search pattern

QUESTION: Do you still use Pay It Global for payments

ANSWER: Yes, but there are problems at the moment with communication because of the fires in Australia

QUESTION: What is the maximum quantity messages that can be sent out with Message Magic

ANSWER:  The quantity really depends on your connection speed and at the speed our software will let you do it. It sends about a message per second, and if we send it faster than that, we flood Skype servers, and then we can have problems.

QUESTION:  Is there a limit on the number of messages we can send per day.

ANSWER:  No, there is no limit, you can send out tens of thousands if you want. Just remember that it is about adding contacts, not just about blasting a whole lot of messages. We have spoken often about the correct and responsible way to go about it.

QUESTION:  Has anyone had problems with Skype for adding so many contacts at a time.

ANSWER:  No, we have not had any problems with adding contacts, the only time that you will pick up problems from Skype is if you send messages to people who have not connected with you, so don’t do that. You should have a basic message when you send the “add contact” inviting them to add you as a contact and Skype does not consider that an infringement of their terms and conditions. Make sure you have a good message that will catch their interest, and set up your profile as comprehensively as possible. Most people will also click on our profile because you have them curious, and from there, we hope they decide to add you as a contact.
