Tips for successful List Building with Sales Funnel Secrets

When you have something you believe in, you are excited about and you want to share with others, it is easy to talk about it. You want to shout it from the roof tops, in the streets – in fact everywhere you find people who will listen, so why not on the internet? You can collect people in a hall, in a park even in the street. We at Sales Funnel Secrets will show you how to collect people into an autoresponder on the internet, and call them your “List”.This is a list of subscribers who want to hear what you have to say. It is a list of people who know a little about what you can give them and decided that they would like to hear some more. As long as what you offer them makes sense and is something they can learn or benefit from, you will find it easy to get them to read what you have to tell them. This is called List Building. There are a few tricks to getting this done, so read on and find out how Sales Funnel Secrets recommend you do it.

  • If you have a Website or a blog, make sure you have a webform on there to collect visitor’s contact details…have this show on each page. Your visitor may land on a page other than the first page, so they must have the option to sign up from any page.
  • Make the offer on your webform inviting – give them something that makes them feel excited enough to ask for more information.
  • Don’t ask for too much information on the webform…Name and email is quite sufficient. You can get further details later. People are hesitant to give too much information at the first contact.
  • It is a good idea to create a good squeeze page or Lead Capture Page or even a blog with a webform to collect visitor’s details. Something that gives them just enough information to make them curious. It must be something so exciting that they cannot wait to get further details.
  • Offer them something for free. Make this something that they can benefit from…a good ezine series like we offer our upgraded members in Sales Funnel Secrets. They get a campaign with pre-written follow up messages customized with their own information and links pre-loaded in AWeber. You could also offer them some free software or something with resale rights or Private Label Rights to get them to join your list.
  • Don’t confuse your visitors with too many options. Give them one action….to sign up for your eBook /ezine /article / free giveaway / more information etc, etc.
  • If you offer them a free eBook or software make a book cover or a box for the software. It always looks more professional, and they are more inclined to look at the invitation. Using Audio or Video is also a good idea.
  • If you go to a live event, always hand out literature..pamphlets/ business cards etc, with your details and invitation for them to subscribe to your newsletter.
  • Make your newsletter or whatever messages you are sending your subscribers, interesting and informative, and ask them to tell a friend about them. If they find it interesting enough, they will be glad to refer others to it as well.
  • Put a good signature on all outgoing emails…even from your outlook, gmail or whatever email service you are using – not only on your autoresponder messages. Use these in forums and social networks too – wherever people will see them
  • If you use business cards, use both sides. Why waste the back of the card. Use it to put your ezine subscription details on.
