How to use MMG to track your Advertising and establish what Lead Capture Pages work best.

Two of the most important things in any Marketing are

TIME AND MONEY.

When you are building your list it is the same. You need to manage both of these as best you can. In order to do that, you need to establish what advertising works best for you.
Today I am going to show you how easy it is to discover this by putting MMG to it’s best use to help you. I will also show you how easy it is to use this to build your main list.

  • Firstly you have to decide which advertising resources you want to use and test.
  • Then create a Lead Capture Page for the program you want to promote. Example: SFSEzine
  • Once you have a Lead Capture Page, clone it as many times as you have advertising sources that you want to use. naming each one for a different advertising source. EXAMPLE: SFSezine with 2Till Auto-Ad.
  • Next you need to set your meta_adtracking in you MMG by going to the Thank You Page and Auto Responder Options and choosing 3rd Party Autoresponder. Hook up to the List in AWeber, and then use meta_adtracking for your Field Name and your advertising reource as the Field Value. (eg. 2TllAutoAdv)

This will tell you in your AWeber list, in your Leads view, when someone subscribes to your sfsezine from 2Till Auto Advertising by adding “2tillAutAdv” in the catagory column when you view your leads.
If you monitor and analize this information over a period of time, you will establish where most of your leads are coming from. In other words…you will know which advertising resources are most successful. With this information, you can plan your advertising and use your resources accordingly. You may decide to upgrade in some of the advertising resources that are more succesful to get even better terms…usually you can advertise more often when you upgrade, and some offer more services and options. Some others may be canceled, as they don’t give worthwhile results…you will be in a better position to make a qualified decision. All this information will save you time and money in the long run. As long as you use the information correctly, you win all the way.

If you are an Affiliate member of the advertising resources you are using, there is a simple added step to assist your List Building as well as earnings from back-end sales.

You will need to create a campaign for each advertising resource in AWeber and set an automation rule. Go to the training for September 21 to get the instructions and to watch a video on how this is done.

All you have to do is use a Lead Capture thank you page for the advertising resource as a redirect page when you hook up to your AWeber campaign. They will then see this page as soon as they have opted in at your original Lead Capture Page. This gives them the opportunity to subscribe to your advertising resource as well. After all, most of your subscribers will need to advertise as well. With the automation rule set to subscribe them to your sfsezine when they subscribe for the advertising list, you will also be building your main list.

There is another good way of using MMG to establish better promotional choices by tracking different Lead Capture Pages.

This is also a very simple method to let MMG work for you.

You need to create different Lead Capture Pages for the same program. Choose different templates, change the text, Add you own Photograph, Add Audio or Video. When you name your project, you could use numbers to identify each page…for example: sfsezine page 01, etc. Then follow the same steps as above, using the Project name in the meta_adtracking Field Value when you hook your Lead Capture Page up to AWeber. eg sfsezine01. Now you will be able to establish what Lead Capture Pages people respond to best.

If you use a rotator to put your Lead Capture Pages in, you only need to advertise the one link. PageSwirl and 2TillProfit both have good Rotators, but in PageSwirl you can only use 5 links if you have the free version. The Pro version has no limit. In 2TillProfit’s IsoRotator you can use unlimited URL’s. If you want to use these in Traffic Exchanges, you must establish whether Rotator URL’s are acceptable or not. Some don’t accept them at all, others will accept only PageSwirl.
