Here is a question I got from a Skype Tips student of mine about making Skype groups, not group rooms mind you, but enabling groups in your own Skype account.
“Since I’m just starting I don’t have any problems or questions about Message Magic, the first problem for me starts already with making groups in Skype. I have the list with contacts, I can add a new contact, search for Skype users or start a new meeting, but it seems impossible for me to making a new group, to put my existing contacts in.”
Answer:
It is easy to make Skype groups and an excellent idea too. Especially if you are building a list in Skype. And especially if you use Message Magic to make many more Skype contacts.
Do this…
- Enable Groups in your Skype. I show how in this video below. Watch the first 2 min at least to learn how to Enable your Skype Groups.
- Create more groups in your Skype as you see the need from your contacts areas of interest.
- Add Skype contacts to these groups based on your chats with them. This allows you to take the high road to permission messaging. Ask first before sending info to them. Make sure they are interested.
Watch this video and comment on it please:
Any comments?
Please let me know what questions remain after watching this video. Thanks.
