Who would like a one on one coaching session?

l send out a Skype broadcast letting people know about this little chat Ill have to prepare for a one on one coaching session tomorrow … on topics # 3 and #4 on the MM poll. …if you do not get the Broadcast… let me know.

Mind you, those on 4.0 Skype will not be able to join the Skype room from a link… but can be added to this room by other members. OK I am off to do the Broadcast… if you do not get it… make sure you let me know if you want to be notified of my MM /  Skype Tips videos  and live trainings….

Tomorrows session (May 23 in USA)  is at 7 pm CT / 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET in my Skype Tips Skype room for MM members. It will be by Skype Room text chat… so you can catch it later or when we meet live …

This skype chat room is open 24 / 7 but  if you leave you do not get to read the text chat during time you are not here. I suggest you do not use the green Leave door… stay in the room…
… when you are done reading this room or chatting here… use  the X in the upper right corner… but “stay away from the green leave door”…  just below it! This way you be able to review all text chat here while you where offline.

For the coaching session, thinking of the Skype Groups you want to make is a good preparation for  this.

This is for you to prepare for tomorrow…  To Topics you chose:

1. #3 Enabling Groups and
2. #4 making a test groups and experimenting with the {firstname}  tag…

…. then it shows you how to move people to your test group.

I found these videos on Enabling your Skype groups … for use w MM… by clicking on the video category near the bottom on my side bar on my blog … the 2nd and 3rd post was related to your one on one coaching requested topics: Skype Contact Groups Video and … right under that post is… How to personalize your Skype message about using the {firstname} tag

So if you would kindly review those… and ask question after trying it in your own Skype … make a test group and try the name tag {firstname}

Practise this tomorrow morning… or well before our meeting is fine also

I am off to sleep… this was a fun experiment… in giving you some homework to get the most from the live session we will have here tomorrow…

[Stay focused on your topics though.

1. make test group, and
2. try {firstname}

… only the first 2 min of the video are needed.

Lab Homework:

1. make a  new group (you must enable groups in Skype to do this) …
2. ask a few friends to be in your test group,
3. add them to the test group (see video – not the same as Previous contacts group)….
4. then send a test message only to the test group using {firstname}…..
5. then, open a private chat with the people in your test group and
6. see what the message you broadcast using Message Magic  looks like…
7. Did the firstname tag worked ok?
8. Do you need to rename your contacts with their real firstnames?
