Building targeted lists is a way to get more response from your contacts. The power is in the relationship you have with your list. Well, the best way to build a trusted connection with the people on your list, your Skype contacts in this case, is to use Skype Contact Groups. Its easy and free. This is a demo video for Skype & Message Magic users. Please allow me to explain in text here before you watch it. I think it will make the video more useful for you.

This video shows you how I am managing some of my Skype contacts via Skype Groups. Skype Contact Groups are not chat rooms and is found in your own Skype account with your own Skype contacts.

Skype Contact Groups make it possible to keep track of who is who and your connection to them, whether business, personal, faith-based, projects you have together or teams… or potential prospects; targeted prospects. This is really useful when using the Message Magic software to contact your Skype groups for a mass communication.

This Targeted List Building with Skype Groups video below will demonstrate Skype techniques to work with Skype Contact Groups, how to move your contacts around, and why you would want to. This helps you send more targeted or relevant messages via Skype to these contacts (things they will be interested in), thus building a more targeted Skype contacts list… meaning more responsive, which means more profitable if you are a marketer, seller or promoter.

UnGrouped to Previous Contacts

In the Message Magic Advanced Users Guide it suggests moving all new contacts from the ungrouped contacts to a new group you create called Previous Contacts. (I did a video on here).

Also in last weeks Tuesdays Skype Webinar(/a)  we discussed the relationship (trust) building strategy, of contacting your new contacts with a friendly easy conversation builder message or greeting. Well, here comes the video explanation part… I had sent all my new and old Skype contacts, the Previous Contacts group using Message Magic, a personalized Happy Holiday greeting (yes, using their name – worked great!).Then as I discovered how I had connected with them, I could start moving them into more targeted or relevant Skype Groups; the video shows me moving Kaycee into my Message Magic Skype Group. Now she will get my messages I send that group to say some thing about MM, like that a new video is on my blog (LOL) … or that the MM training webinars are starting now. Relevant messages these people will be interested in. You can do the same with prospects groups business teams, etc.
