Procedure for making Rotating Tracking URL’s:
We, Julie and Hyla, decided to throw all our advertising resources together in order to get maximum exposure across the board. To achieve this we had to rotate our URL’s. This is how this is done:
First of all we needed an MMG page for every advertising type, Traffic Exchanges, Safelists and Other. In other words there were 3 URL’s for each, so 3 Rotators had to be used. One for each type of advertising. PageSwirl was used to make these 3 rotating urls.
We are rotating both our MMG lead capture pages in all our advertising, for getting maximum exposure.
- One had the 2 Traffic exchange URL’s in it. One for Hyla & One for Julie,
- Another one the 2 Safelist URL’s
- and the 3rd one had the 2 “Other†advertising sources URL’s in.
Tracking Urls:
In 2TillProfit you will find Ad-Alyzer.com in the member’s area, You need to enter each advertising source (Program) seperately to make individual links to use in your advertising programs. Click on †Create Linkâ€and enter the information called for, remember to use the correct advertising type in step #1 when you enter the Complete URL for the Link you wish to track.
This is the link from Page Swirl.
In step #2 click the option “I want to pick the name of my tracking link. Enter the name below.†You can make up your own name for the campaign to make it easy to recognise you advertising source and campaign… In this case, GG_ and the traffic source, was used. eg GG_Dusty was used for Dusties Magical Marketing. Once all the steps are completed you will get the
following information:
Name of Ad Vehicle: GiveawayGuru MMG Hyla-Julie Rotated
Tracking URL: http://pageswirl.com/rotate.php?user=assurance
Ad-Alyzer Forwarding URL: http://www.ad-alyzer.com/727/740751169272
The forwarding link: http://www.ad-alyzer.com/727/740751169272
The forwarding link is the URL to use in your advertising, for example, Dusty’s Magical Marketing Safelist. In Ad-Alyzer you can follow the results of each URL. MMG gives you results for each MMG page and in PageSwirl you can look for results of each Rotated URL.
