Tracking & Targeted List Building for GiveawayGuru Promotion

We setup, Hyla and I, a set of Lead Capture Pages (MMG) with Aweber Lists… for promoting GiveAwayGuru (GG).

We wanted to track results and also rotate our urls, so we both are promoting both our pages. I also wanted to build targeted lists at the same time as the main ezine (SFS) lists.

So if we market w Traffic Exchanges (TE) or Safelists (SL), we could track where they came from and also build targeted list with special bonuses and support (and back end recomendations)… to these leads, targted to their interests.

Overview:

• Building a Targeted List for GG while also building the main Ezine SFS List.
• This allows us to follow up on our GG referrals to support them.
• Also lets us know a lead in our main sfs ezine list came from promoting GG using the meta adtracker (MMG setting) which names the lead Category in Aweber.
• Also when promoting with SLs, we can offer SL Bonuses from a targeted SL Aweber list, so we are …
• Building another targeted list to send targeted follow up to… Safelists, recommendation the Safelist Trainings and our Safelist Blog post(s) … with links to our safelists.
• With TE we can do that same thing (Targeted TE List, Sends them to our TE blog posts. as well as TE bonuses and Trainings, and Aweber Lead Category for Targeted Broadcast follow up ).
• Plus we can track hits on the various tracking urls we use in each advertising or traffic sources (each SL and TE, or other source).

It goes like this…
When a visitor or lead hits the SL GG MMG Lead Capture page and optin they are taken to the Thank you page, which is a modified Safelist LCP
1st they opt in to GGlist, and if the rule is set, also get added to the sfs list…
the redirect is the SL Thank you page.. reminding them to confirm
and fill in the form to get there SL Bonuses…
which gets them on the SLTips list…
and as long as they use the same email address they will not get added again to your SFS… as a duplicate… even tho the rule shoudl be set … to get them on SFS if they get on SLTips …. (set in aweber taht way for other mmg SL pages)

To setup the Aweber automation rules, to get them on the Bonus (Targetd) lists…its very very easy to do.

Go to you main SFS Ezine list, then mouse over list settings and click on Automation. In the window at the bottom, add your GG list to the 3rd rule to subscribe any GG optins to your sfs list. Really easy.

If its not done yet, you shoud also have your SL set to get optins on your sfs list… not for this GG promotion project but for use when just promoting to SLs with your main sfs MMG LC page. Same with TE list.

• GG SL page
• GG SL Thank you page for delivery of Extra SL bonuses (Builds SL targeted list)
• GG TE page
• GG TE Thank you page for Delivery of Extra TE bonuses (Builds TE targeted list)
• GG page for any other advertising (PPC, YLL, 2TillProfit Traffic, etc)

Aweber Lists Needed:

• SFS Ezine – your main list (SFS members Aweber list preloaded w custom blog url fields)
• SL Bonus List
• TE Bonus List
• GG List
