Here are the step to testing your Lead capture pages and Aweber campaigns when you use an MMG (Lead Capture Page) as a thank you page and the automation rules in Aweber…

I tested the tracking url .

  1. It went to both our pages we are rotating for the particular safelist we want to send ads to.
  2. Then I opted in and was placed in both lists… GiveawayGuru and my sfs
  3. After optin I was redirected to the Tahnk You Page (MMG) page for Salelist Bonuses… opted in there… same email as instructed on the thank you page, and…I was added to the SafeListTips Aweber list and I then…
  4. Checked that I was not resubcribed to the SFS Ezine list .. as the Aweber rule to subscrbe when subscribe is set for the Safelisttips list too… nope. No duplicate subscriptions. Thats good.
  5. And the redirect in the Safelist Thank you MMG page sent me to my GiveawayGuru affilate url (hard to verify from the browser, but I very carefully checked the redirect url in that MMG thank you page). So I’m confident it was mine.
  6. Now I can both track my results and automate my target marketing much more efficiently. Each Safelist, Traffic Exchnage and advertising source has its own tracking url.
  7. I can see that my lead came from a safelist and is also interested in GiveawayGuru. The Aweber targeted lists (shared with Elite members) can then automate follow up to their interests. It can support them by sending them to Safelist Support Trainings in the Focus Group and my Safelist Tips Blog post. And…
  8. I can also follow up with more GG launches as they come up every 60-90 days. The GG shared campaign I will develop will get a response if they want to get the prelaunch advantage like I do… using all these tools and trainings to build responsive targeted list…. and get paid for it!

I guess I can send my ad now at SafeListWorld for our Rotating GiveawayGuru promotion. I hope to get one setup for Traffic Exchanges and another for other advertising and Traffic sources… YLL, 2TillProfit, etc.

You should perform the same tests. Make sure you have your targeted lists in Aweber, like a SafeListBonus list and what ever your promoting (in this case a Giveaway Gurus list ) and have your main ezine (SFS) and also your automation rule is set.
