Q: I’m looking to provide a “support” group for a number of people with the same product. More of a user group then a support group.
A: Skype can be used for building a relationship with your lists, your contacts, even for building a business contact list – I encourage Skype Rooms like this for just that

Q: So for a user community, it could be good. We could schedule a regular conference time, but let the group interact in between.
A: Yes it would work very well for that purpose

Q: Could a Skype Room replace the need to use Forums & Social Networks
A: Forums, blogs, Social network sites like Ning… are all better than Skype for getting found by Search Engine bots and spiders… online content…if they are public – Using them in conjunction with a Skype Room is a great idea
