Twitter Skype Room – Topic Focused?

I thought I would copy and paste a Skype chat here I had with Karen S about the Twitter Skype room – Twitter Tuesdays for Skype Addicts. I am asking for feedback on whether this room should only be used on Tuesdays, and only for Twitter topic?

I think I want people to just use this room to let others know they are Tweeting… and connect to more Twitter friends (post Twitter links here )  each Tuesday… thus it will be topic centered here

Twitter Tuesdays for Skype Addicts

If you are like me, then …  you are on Skype all the time.  Soooo … this room could also be used to get people off Skype and onto Twitter… not JUST Tuesdays… but also other times…

Here is how

If you add a post on Twitter… you can place the link to the post here… or … leave a short messages here (in the Skype room) to all your new Skype / Twittering Friends some thing like:

“Hey,  all my new Skype / Twittering Friends in this room, I am tweeting now if you want to check it out and come  tweet back – here is my Twitter link to make it easy to come on over to twitter – http://twitter.com/juliewolf – click and  tweet if you would like to get off Skype and Tweet a while with me? “

… or some thing like that

or just Skype …
“I’m twittering,  http://twitter.com/juliewolf come follow me”

Hint: The title of this room indicates we are Skype addicts… always on Skype. The purpose of this Skype room is to get us to Twitter! (stop Skypeing and start Twittering – for a change).

What do you think?

1. Shall this Skype Room be topic focused on Twitter? (yes or no)… keep in mind we have other rooms for chit chat.
2. Should we only use the room on Tuesdays? Or any day / time any of us are Twittering to invite others to come over to Twitter too?
