Q: How can I set my Skype not to open the chat window, and not call the contact when I double click on their name

A: Open your MAIN Skype Window, choose Tools -> Options Under General Settings ensure the Start A Chat button is checked, not Start A Call…..Click SAVE

Q2

Q: If I download Skype on another computer, how can I get into a Skype chatroom from there.

A: There are two ways -

• You can ask someone to add you to the room.
• You can join from the link – This link is usually in the creator’s Skype Mood bubble, but if it is not,
  or you don’t know who the creator of the room is, you can ask anyone who is in that room for it. Please also remember that if you are added to the room by someone else, you need to bookmark it so that you can find it easily after you close it. If you join from a link, it is automatically bookmarked. If you are new to Skype, you may want to read our Skype Tips Category on our blog.
