Q: How can someone add me to their Skype Room if we are not connected
A: It is quite easy for someone to add you to a room, but they would have to send you an invitation to exchange details first. You don’t have to accept before they can add you to a room. Once you send an invitation to someone, they appear on your contact list with a ? in front of their name, then you can add them to your room. If they are in one of the rooms where you are a contact, they can also add you even if you are not connected

Q: How can I find out what version of Skype I have.
A: In your main Skype window click on “Help” then “About Skype” a window will appear with the Skype Version on.
