What is a good Business Opportunity,

I had a very interesting chat in Skype yesterday. I met someone who told me that he finds list building boring, and he cannot socialize well. He is looking for a good opportunity for an online business. He wants to utilize Skype to market an opportunity if he can find something good. He has already tried several programs without success.

This motivated me to write this post and ask for ideas from my readers.

I would like to invite you all to tell us what you consider to be good, and how you recognize a good opportunity. What is your criteria for a good income opportunity.

I believe that there are many good programs out there waiting to be discovered. There are a few things that everyone needs to do for any program to be successful.

Listed below are a few things that I consider to be essential for success.

• You need a target market or niche… preferably one you love
• For that you need to know your own interests – what you are passionate about?  If you want to be successful and enjoy doing what you are doing, then it has to be something you are interested and preferably passionate about.
• Be sure to make the right choice or you may regret it. In this post by Billy C about “Truth and Lies“ we can see how easy it is to fall into a trap of choosing the wrong program…. especially take not of the second paragraph and you can leave your comments too.
• You must focus on one thing at a time – don’t hop around from one program and opportunity to the next trying to make money. You cannot hope to make money immediately. Anything worth while takes time – your time. When you have succeeded in mastering one program, then and only then should you try another one.
• You need to build a responsive and targeted list of contacts – people who know, like and trust you, so you have to brand yourself. I use Skype to do this.
